Introduction:
Our company founded in 1989, is a large-scale professional manufacturer of feed machinery fittings, integrating production, sales, and service. The headquarter is located at the new zone of Meishan Industrial Park, Sichuan, China. Covering an area of 40000sq.m with 3 plants for forging and casting, drilling, and fine turning. We’re the only dies manufacturer who has its own forging and casting factory in China, it means we can control the quality from the beginning. Furthermore, we have enough work blank for different types. On the one side, we can control the quality from the start and also we can speed up the production. We’re a professional feed spare designer and have 15 professional technicians, all the masters have more than 30 years experiences of production. Our robust R&D department collaborates with customers to design tailored compression ratios and strengths, ensuring optimal pelleting effects and superior product quality.
The company established quality policies of customer satisfaction, integrity operation, first-class quality, and technological innovation. And the essence of the enterprise culture of “being realistic and dedicated” and the concept of “working with customers to make granules” was integrated into the production and service.

Why we're using carbide over stainless steel for dies?
The choice between carbide and stainless steel for pellet mill dies can have significant implications.
Increased Wear Resistance:
Carbide is inherently harder and more durable than stainless steel, making it more resistant to abrasive wear from the feed material.
This increased wear resistance can significantly extend the lifespan of the die, leading to fewer replacements and reduced downtime.
Superior Hardness:
Carbide has a Rockwell hardness of around 90-94 HRC, compared to around 58-62 HRC for high-quality stainless steel.
The superior hardness of carbide allows it to better withstand the high compressive forces and friction experienced during the pelleting process.
Enhanced Thermal Resistance:
Carbide maintains its hardness and strength at higher temperatures, making it better suited for applications with significant frictional heat generation.
This improved thermal resistance can help prevent premature wear and deformation of the die, especially when processing more abrasive or high-temperature feed materials.
Improved Surface Finish:
Carbide dies can be polished to a smoother surface finish than stainless steel, which can help reduce friction and improve pellet flow.
The smoother surface finish also makes the die easier to clean and maintain.
Longer Service Life:
The combination of increased wear resistance, hardness, and thermal resistance typically results in a significantly longer service life for carbide dies compared to stainless steel.
This can translate to fewer die replacements, reduced maintenance costs, and higher overall production efficiency.
Pellet Mill Dies Type:
Clamp-type Die
Screw-type Die
The pattern of the holes:
The hole's pattern will be designed based on the feed ingredients, particle size, PDI, and particle hardness. There are several types of holes, the most common structures of die holes are straight holes, release stepped holes, external conical holes, internal conical holes, etc. Different die-hole structures are suitable for the different raw materials and feed formulas for pelleting.
Compression ratio:
Generally, the higher the compression ratio the denser the finished pellets, but it does not mean the better pellet. The compression ratio should be calculated based on raw materials for pellets and types of feed, buyers can customize dies with different hole diameters and compression ratios according to the situations and requirements.
